Join the 3-Day Native Food Challenge, inspired by my 90-Day Native journey. This short, hands-on challenge is a fun and meaningful way to reconnect with Alaska Native foods, local harvest, and the foods that tie us to land, water, culture, and community.
For three days, you’ll explore simple ways to incorporate Native, local, wild, or traditional foods into your meals through preparation, reflection, and connection to your food sources. The welcome packet is rooted in Southeast Alaska foods and plants, but participants from outside the region are welcome and encouraged to take part by connecting with the Native, local, wild, or traditional foods available where they live.
This challenge is not about perfection. It is about curiosity, connection, and taking one meaningful step toward understanding Alaska Native food systems that have nourished our communities for generations — and finding our way back to the foods, knowledge, and relationships that continue to sustain us.
