Culture shared through conversation, film, and lived experience.

Through speaking engagements, films, and my podcast, I share Tlingit perspectives on art, food, identity, and our relationship with place. My work invites audiences to connect with the people and stories of Southeast Alaska and consider how Indigenous knowledge continues to shape our lives today.

During Luminara’s inaugural Alaska season, I provided guest lectures and cultural education for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

90-Day Native

For 90 consecutive days, I ate only foods harvested, fished, hunted, or foraged in Alaska. This documentary follows my personal journey into ancestral foodways, exploring identity, health, food sovereignty, and the knowledge and relationships that sustain us. The challenge is complete, and the film is currently in post-production.

Connect + Culture + Cause

Through conversations with Indigenous artists, storytellers, and cultural leaders, I explore how culture shapes identity, inspires creativity, and gives purpose to our work. Each episode offers a personal look at the experiences, relationships, and ideas that move us to create and share.

Listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or tune in to KCAW Raven Radio on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Alaska time.

The Woman Who Married a Bear

A contemporary retelling of a traditional Tlingit story, this short film brings Lingít language, Native actors, and Southeast Alaska landscapes to the screen. I wrote the adaptation and co-directed the film with Dave Fedorski, with translation by X̱ʼunei Lance Twitchell. The film celebrates storytelling as a living pathway for language and cultural knowledge.

Currently traveling the film festival circuit; not yet available for public streaming.

MidnightRun LLC

I co-own MidnightRun LLC with filmmaker Dave Fedorski. Together, we bring stories to the screen through documentaries, narrative films, and productions for organizations and brands. Our work combines compelling visuals with a personal connection to the people and places we film.
